1. Scope of AI Integrations

Shortlet OS includes a generative artificial intelligence feature that drafts a suggested WhatsApp follow-up message for a lead, based on the lead details you enter. The operator reviews and edits the draft before it is sent.

This AI feature is an administrative aid only. It does not replace the final review, decision-making, or operational authority of the shortlet operator.

3. Booking Calendar & Double Bookings

Shortlet OS maintains a single booking calendar for the units you manage on the platform and blocks a unit's dates once it is booked, to prevent double bookings inside the system.

Shortlet OS does not sync with external listing channels. Bookings made outside the platform are not visible to it, so double bookings can still occur if the same unit is booked elsewhere. You are advised to record all bookings in Shortlet OS and to review your calendar regularly.

4. WhatsApp Delivery & Telecommunication Limits

Automated notifications are sent via WhatsApp API routes.

Message delivery is subject to the guest's mobile network connection, active cellular plans, and WhatsApp server uptime. Shortlet OS does not guarantee 100% receipt rates if a guest is offline, has blocked business accounts, or if telecommunication providers experience regional outages inside Nigeria.

5. Paystack & Bank Reconciliation

Dynamic booking status changes rely on webhook responses from Paystack.

If a guest transfers money and banks experience network routing delays (a frequent occurrence in local bank-to-bank settlements), the automated system might experience a slight delay in confirming the balance. Operators are encouraged to check their official Paystack dashboard before taking high-risk actions.
